Snap2Task is a web-based AI productivity tool available at www.snap2task.com. We are operated by James F. Denton Jr. and can be contacted at snap2task@gmail.com.
Images you upload: Your images are processed entirely within your browser using Tesseract.js. They are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. Once you close the tab, they are gone.
Extracted text: The text extracted from your image or pasted directly is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI API for task extraction. This transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy.
Session data: Recent conversion history is stored in your browser's sessionStorage only. This data is cleared automatically when you close the tab or browser. We cannot access it.
Usage analytics: We may use Google Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregated usage statistics (page views, session duration, general geographic region). This does not include your content or personal information.

- We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any form
- We do not use your content to train AI models
Anthropic Claude API: Extracted text is sent to Anthropic for AI processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data. See anthropic.com/privacy.
Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google's CDN. Google may log the request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare CDN: Tesseract.js is loaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com. Cloudflare may log the request. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Google AdSense: We may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com.
Snap2Task itself does not set cookies. However, third-party services (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) may set cookies on your device. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
Snap2Task is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us at snap2task@gmail.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Snap2Task after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
